My favorite kind of session to shoot is personal branding photoshoots! What is a personal branding photoshoot, you may ask? Well, it’s a photoshoot meant for small business owners who want to use photography to help build their brand, connect with their audience, and build an online presence.

The reason I LOVE these shoots is because I love entrepreneurs! I love their passion for what they do. I love their drive, and how hard they work to make their dreams come true. Most of all, I love helping them jumpstart to where they want to be!

Why You Want a Personal Branding Photoshoot

Personal branding photoshoots are so powerful because they are so valuable to business owners today! According to Forbes and Entrepreneur.com, personal branding is essential to an entrepreneur’s success. In fact, a recent study found that 52% of vendors they surveyed said they lost business because of information customers found, or couldn’t find, online about them! People today shop for more than just a product and a price – they buy from you because of your brand and your story.

A personal brand photoshoot can help you connect with your audience and share your story. You can use the photos to share what it’s like to work with you, your passions and inspirations, and how you are different. They can show your audience where your products come from, and what makes them special.

Some ways you can use the images from your photoshoot are:

–  Personalize and brand your website. Professional photographs incorporated into your business increase trust with your audience. They also visually tell the story of your brand, and your unique value. Your followers want to see your face, and know who you are! This is why a headshot, and behind the scenes images can be so powerful.

–  Marketing, marketing, marketing! Professional personal brand images can be used on social media platforms. They can strengthen your brand on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and more. Just share a photo with a story, a question, or how your product is helpful, and they can be great marketing tools!

–  Place them in your email newsletters. People will find seeing your message more interesting than just reading about it!

– Build a media library to use for marketing, website, blogs, emails, and more. A personal branding photoshoot can help you have a large selection of images about your business to use anytime. It’s easier to draw from a library of one or multiple personal branding photoshoots, than having to hire a photographer every time you need to share some photos! Personal branding photoshoots can help you build up that media library.

Personal branding photoshoots are SO helpful for business owners!! I really can’t emphasize it enough. You can probably tell I’m so passionate about them, which is why this is my favorite kind of session to shoot!

What does a branding shoot include?

Personal branding photoshoots are amazing because they are planned specifically around you and your business. This means that the photos, locations, and products vary each time based on the entrepreneur! However, there are some common elements in all of them! Typically, they include a professional headshot, portraits of you (and your team, if you have one), behind the scene portraits of you working in your business, and some flat lay or product images of your product.

They are completely personalized according to what you and your business need!

FAQ’s about Personal Branding Shoots with Me

How much does your personal branding photoshoot cost?

My prices start at $200 for a 1 hour session. The one hour portrait session will include headshots and lifestyle images. In addition, it also includes 10 product images that I usually take on my own time in my studio. However, based on what you need, I offer custom pricing to help you get what you need for your business!

When and where do you shoot?

This totally depends on your business! If you have an idea, I am open and excited about it! Typically, my style is clean and bright – which means that I find areas with greenery and light or white colors. However, I have the know how to adjust my style to fit your needs and brand – whether it’s super vibrant and colorful (like Natterdoodle) or more muted and edgy. I have access to several photo studios that we can rent to do your shoot, and photos that I can send you so you can see them and choose your favorite. I also know of many outdoor locations that we can shoot at, if that fits your brand better!

Will we have permission to share online and print our images?

Absolutely! I WANT you to use my images all over your website and social media. That’s what I’m creating them for – to help you and your brand! Because of this, every personal branding session includes a digital download of your professional high resolution images.

When will we receive our images after the photography session?

Typically, we will meet and do your 1 hour portrait session first. This will help me get to know you and your brand! Then I will take your products and style and photograph them on my own time in my studio. You can expect to receive all your images within two weeks of the portrait session!
